piano

taking the first step forward is always the hardest, i believe.. but sometimes if we don't get the ball rolling.. we ain't going to achieve anything by the end of the day.. that's what i believe in but that's not what i am practising.. i get really lazy when it comes to practising my piano.. basically i am trying to run away from the truth and reality that i will be sitting for the examinations in May 2009..i took up piano lessons at a young age of 5 (if i have not mistaken) or probably six, which means piano lessons had become a part of my life..without my piano i doubt i would survive.. i consider piano lessons a form of luxury.. a second-hand upright manual piano about 23 years of age will easily cost you a fortune.. piano lessons aren't easy.. getting both your hands to move at different rhythms and tonality is not a piece of cake.. trust me.. so, i guess i got to really pull up my socks and get going before it is too late!! anyway, my favourite composer is Chopin.. listen to his nocturnes.. mesmerising..:)

LOST

ever felt lost in life?? pondering what life is all about??
i DO....................(all the time)
sometimes it just feels like life is nothing more than memorising and studying for exams.. i am seriously unsure about where am i heading to in the future.. i don't have an ambition. i change ambitions all the time.. from doctor to criminal lawyer to scientist and now eyeing on genetic engineering.. i am somehow LOST.. next year, i will be sitting for SPM.. however, i have no plans for my future.. basically, i am really LOST.. whenever teacher asks us on our ambitions i would somehow make up something that sounds good and professional.. for example a doctor when the truth is that i freak out whenever i see blood oozing out.. so, the point is I AM LOST.. if you have any suggestions on what professions suits me most.. please.. do leave a comment..thanks:)

Form 1............

Welcome to MGS Klang.........

a journey down memory lane..
2005-i enrolled into mgs klang and i was alone because jia yee (my only friend that time) was in 1 efektif and me in 1 dedikasi. luckily, i saw aranee (my tuition mate) in the same class and i was relieved.in the first month, i hardly talk to anyone except aranee and a few close friends. the year was not a bed of roses for me as i realised i was no longer the cream of the crop that i used to be in the primary school. getting new friends wasn't a piece of cake for a timid person like me (at that time ). basically, i did not belong to any clique and i was lost in MGS. after a month, i eventually had a hand full of friends like ciuyi, shi yunn, sue wen, wei chin, shobhita and many others. we were the so-called noise makers and chatter boxes. we laughed our way throughout classes and sometimes we even land ourselves into troubles but we manage to win the heart of many teachers. i would say that it wasn't an easy year with exams getting tougher and tougher with time. friendships among us were on thin ice. perhaps all of those should not be mentioned here as it is private and confidential (P&C)!!lastly, 2005 was one of the best years in my life. i learnt many things especially on how to adapt into a whole new environment. i took weeks to memorise our school anthem as i was not an MGS~ian previously. i stammered terribly when i went for the prefects' interview conducted by Pn Khairiah, the discipline teacher at that time. i even claimed that i knew how to fry rice when the reality was i only knew how to fry an egg. she persuaded me to enter Kelab Keceriaan because she said that i am a very 'ceria' person. don't laugh..... i know it's funny :)

Bats??

yesterday, i went for my add maths class in Delta. Mr Low(my add maths teacher) gave us a lecture about planning ahead for our future. although it sounded kind of lame but i find the lecture to be true. he said that Chinese are a bit more stubborn compared to other races which i actually agree. considering how stubborn i am at times. he also advised us not to work during this school holidays as it will be tough next year. instead, he prefers us to revise all our form four syllabus during holidays. all work and no play makes jack a dull boy. of course, holidays are always about rejuvenating your mind, body and soul as well as to sit back and relax after a year long struggle (only for those who struggled). for those who find it hard to accept the fact that you are not progressing, all i would say is that you have not done enough. i understand that sometimes no matter how much you try, all the effort seem to be futile. but i believe if you persevere, you will make it. i sincerely believe that everyone has their own talent, not necessarily in the academic field. perhaps in the future many of you will end up better than those who are now passing exams with flying colours. getting good results do not guarantee anything in the future but at least you tried. if you do not give yourself a chance, then perhaps you will end up regretting in the future. all i want to say here is that at times, it is hard for us to accept changes but if you do not keep up you will eventually drift away from this fast growing world. we do not know what is waiting for us ahead, all we need to do is to clear the obstacles and keep moving forward. making the first step is always the hardest but once you start the ball rolling, no one can stop you. believe me, the feeling of being successful is one of its kind and it is undefinable unless you experience it for yourself. so, go ahead and experience it for yourself. it's a life-time golden opportunity.

~don't be the bats as they are always afraid to face the bright morning sun. just like us, we should not be afraid of obstacles and hindrance instead we should make our way through.. it is always hard for us to step out from our present comfort zone but remember happiness do not last forever..if you are a bat, then think again and take a step forward.. i know i like to nag, but it's just me....:)

Just me

yesterday, i spent seven out of twenty four hours in Delta. i had physics class from 2.15 to 4.15, chemistry class from 4.30 to 6.30 and accounts class from 6.45 to 8.45.. i felt a bit tired but it's fine. nowadays students are used to hectic lifestyles.. so, there's no big deal.. my mum used to tell me that people back in her time starts taking tuition when they are in the upper secondary.. on the contrary, i have started tuition classes since i was seven.. however, i enjoyed my childhood.. many thought that i spend my whole life studying.. some even thought that i never read storybooks as they often spot me with my text and revision books.. do not judge a book by its cover, i do read storybooks.. but once in a blue moon.. only when holidays are around the corner.. i admit that i am a rather stressful person.. catching up in studies and always trying to be the best.. my parents always insist that as long as i tried my best in exams, there will be no regrets.. i really love them.. they are always there for me rain or shine.. it's just that i am such a lucky person.. so, thanks God.. i will be appreciative :)
